UW’s football coaches are on the road visiting recruits. UW Softball is on the road to Arkansas for the first round of the NCAA tournament. And the UW Men’s Basketball team knows their road (and home) games for the 2026-2027 season. Those and more for your Wednesday dots.
Football Dots
- Not a lot of football news. The UW coaches are on the road visiting recruits and extending some offers. RB Coach Scottie Graham was at high school powerhouse IMG Academy yesterday.
- UW is at #19 in the CBS Sports post-spring ranking of all 138 FBS teams.
- Dan Raley’s latest player preview is WR Christian Moss who missed most of spring practice with a pulled hamstring. When he recovers, he’ll be competing for a starting spot at WR.
- Former Husky Michael Penix Jr. is back practicing with the Falcons (in a limited capacity), 6 months after tearing his ACL last fall.
UW Athletics Dots
- Andrew Berg has his update on UW Softball. The team opens the NCAA tournament at he regional in Fayetteville, Arkansas on Friday against South Florida. While the Huskies didn’t make it far in the Big Ten tournament, 6 Huskies earned all-conference honors, and one was named to the All-Tournament Team: Sophi Mazzola.
- Four women from UW’s Tennis team were named to the Academic All-District Team.
- The UW Baseball team will be finishing their regular season with a 3-game series against #1 UCLA this weekend. There are games Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Friday’s game has been designated as the “Bark at the Park”; that game begins at 6 PM. UW can secure a spot in the Big Ten Tournament with a win over UCLA this weekend.
- The UW Men’s Basketball 2026-2027 Big Ten slate is now set. All of the Big Ten teams will play 20 conference games, including 3 that will be both home and away; for UW those 3 are Oregon, UCLA, and USC.
