But after LA Knight dropped WWE World Heavyweight champion Roman Reigns following his scintillating defense over Penta last night in the capital of Mexico, and the OTC told Knight he would “whoop his bitch ass” at Money in the Bank next month in the Big Easy… Raw General Manager Adam Pearce posted this message:“Ladies and gentleman, Adam Pearce here on site in Mexico City after what was an incredible
Monday Night Raw, but I would be remissed [sic] if I did not address what took place following the broadcast between LA Knight, and the World Heavyweight champion Roman Reigns.
“By now you’ve all seen and heard what Roman had to say following their encounter, and in light of what took place I am hereby making it official: Oct 10, New Orleans, Louisiana, at Money in the Bank, Roman Reigns will defend the World Heavyweight championship against LA Knight — thank you.“
Other than the titular ladder matches, where Bron Breakker & Je’Von Evans, and Sol Ruca & Lola Vice each await four additional opponents, Reigns vs. Knight is the only other match booked for Smoothie King Center on Oct. 10.
