Barcelona star Raphinha has sent out a strong message on social media and vowed to return as soon as possible after sustaining another hamstring injury at World Cup 2026 with Brazil.
Raphinha was forced out of Brazil’s win over Haiti and it’s not known yet if he will be able to play again at the tournament for the Selecao.
Here’s what he’s had to say on Instagram.
“I chose this photo first because it reminds me of where it all began. The boy who dreamed of wearing the shirt of the Brazilian National
Team is still here. With the same dreams, the same gratitude and the same desire to represent our country.
“I love football, I love what I do and I love wearing the shirt of the Brazilian National Team. Whoever knows me knows how much I demand of myself and how much I work every day to evolve. And that’s never going to change. I’m going to do everything in my power to recover and get back as soon as possible.
“I want to be by my teammates’ side, fight for our goals and continue to give everything to honor this jersey and bring joy to the Brazilian fans.”
Barcelona are believed to be concerned that Raphinha could suffer another relapse if he returns too quickly, with the Brazilian thought to be eyeing a potential return in the quarter-finals if his team make it that far.
