In recent years, Bayern Munich have brought up legitimate first-team players through the academy. Names like Lennart Karl and Aleksander Pavlović stand out in recent memory, but not all players have seen success breaking through. One of the most promising players at the current moment is Noël Aséko. However, with a loaded midfield, there is a limited opportunity for the German youth talent at the moment.
With that in mind, Bayern Munich are starting to speculate the player’s future and determine whether
it makes the most sense to move on from the player for a decent sale. According to reports from Bild as captured by @iMiaSanMia, in case of a sale, Bayern is reportedly expecting a double digit million fee. This number seems more than fair based on his performance with Hannover 96 last season, where he was awarded their player of the season.
Eintracht Frankfurt are now reportedly in serious pursuit of the Bayern talent and are in advanced talks with the player, offering him a contract until 2030. It is important to note here that Frankfurt has zero interest in combining a transfer here with one for Nathaniel Brown, ruling out any sort of swap.
While they are not directly tied together, a sale for Aséko would certainly help the piggy bank when it comes to landing the promising Frankfurt left-back. Perhaps a bit of respectful business for the sale of Aséko could come a long way in terms of getting a deal done for Brown.
