What is the story about?
Yesterday, we received the cheering news that three Phillies were named finalists for major awards: Cristopher Sánchez for the Cy Young, Jhoan Duran for Reliever of the Year, and Don Mattingly for Manager of the Year. But when the winners are announced, we are likely to receive less cheering news. Those three awards are expected to head to trophy cases outside of our fair city.
But while Phillies might not bring home the bacon this year, they won’t be shut out forever (a Phillie hurler has to win
the Cy one of these years, right?). So today’s question is: Who will be the next Phillie to win a major award?
