The National League has pretty clearly set themselves with two frontrunners for the MVP award. Pete Crow-Armstrong and Shohei Ohtani will likely finish one-two when the final votes are counted, however that order is made. Yet there is always someone that has to come in third and right now, that can be a toss up.
There are a lot of candidates to choose from, each with his own claim to that spot in the voting. You can argue that even Jacob Misiorowski can make a substantial claim to finishing in the top
three, but what about Bryce Harper? Has Harper done enough to finish in the top three voting for the National League MVP award? His improvement since the team has acquired Luis Arraez has helped propel the team to the top of the Wild Card standings with a playoff spot looking more and more likely.
But are there others that should be ahead of him, or will the word “valuable” carry some weight in this circumstance?
