The Philadelphia Eagles officially announced the inactives list for their 2025 NFL Week 4 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The following Eagles players WILL NOT PLAY: Adoree’ Jackson, Sam Howell,
Azeez Ojulari, Drew Kendall, and Xavier Gipson.
Jackson was officially ruled doubtful on the Eagles’ final injury report. With him and Jakorian Bennett not playing, the Eagles will likely start Kelee Ringo at cornerback. It’ll be interesting to see how he fares after losing the CB2 competition this offseason.
Howell is the emergency third quarterback for the first time this season. He was previously QB2 while Tanner McKee was not healthy enough to be the primary backup to Jalen Hurts. Howell can only enter the game if both Hurts and McKee become unavailable.
Ojulari is still a healthy scratch despite the Eagles placing Nolan Smith on injured reserve earlier this week. There are five edge rushers active ahead of him: Za’Darius Smith, Jalyx Hunt, Joshua Uche, Patrick Johnson, and Ogbo Okoronkwo. Johnson was a healthy scratch last week and Okoronkwo was a healthy scratch for the first three games of the season.
Kendall is still a healthy scratch as a depth offensive lineman behind the eight blockers the Eagles keep active ahead of him.
Gipson is a healthy scratch despite the Eagles claiming him off waivers earlier this week to presumably help on kick returners and provide depth at wide receiver. Perhaps the team feels like he needs more time to adjust. Gipson could get a chance to play if Tank Bigsby and John Metchie continue to struggle as kick returners.

No surprises for the Bucs. Baker Mayfield, Tristan Wirfs, and Chris Godwin are all set to play despite being ruled questionable on the final injury report.
