Barcelona have reportedly joined the race to land Bournemouth’s impressive young star Eli Junior Kroupi who has shone in the Premier League this season.
Kroupi is still only 19 years of age but has scored 19 times for Andoni Iraola’s side in his first full campaign in English football following a £10m move from Lorient in January 2025.
His performances have drawn interest from a host of Premier League giants, such as Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool.
Barcelona can now be added to Kroupi’s
list of admirers ahead of the summer transfer window, according to the Daily Mail.
Bournemouth would like to keep hold of the teenager but are likely to sell if attractive offers arrive. Recent reports have claimed the Cherries have slapped a €70m price tag on Kroupi amid growing interest in his services.
The Premier League side have made a habit of selling their best players in recent seasons – such as Milos Kerez, Antoine Semenyo and Dean Huijsen – but have still been able to thrive in the English top flight.
