Diego Pacheco may have won but it was a very ugly fight and it’s hard to be impressed by his performance in a fight that he was set up to win handily. Pacheco’s form was not on point and he got dropped by a much smaller man in Kevin Sadjo in round 8. Pacheco still managed to do enough to win, but it was a forgettable
outing.

Joe Cordina won a unanimous decision against Gabe Flores Jr, showing no real respect for his power and walking him down for most of the fight where Flores essentially faded from the pressure. Flores put up a tough effort, but it wasn’t enough to win enough of the rounds. Official scores were 117-110, 115-112, 114-113.

Tito Mercado dominated Antonio Moran, dropping him hard in the first round which had Moran on his heels until the eventual ending in Round 6 when Mercado landing a series of punches to have the referee call it quits to force a KO-6 (2:37).

What can I say? It was a dull and methodical affair. Nicolson won the fight, but likely not any fans. Unanimous decision (98-92, 98-92, 97-93).
