Tyson Fury was in attendance at Dana White’s latest UFC event and it wasn’t long before all kinds of speculation started swirling about whether Fury has aligned himself with Zuffa Boxing — something White didn’t really try to dispel when directly asked about signing Fury after making suggestions he would be professionally involved with Fury.
“We’ll make an announcement soon,” White said. “Listen, let me reiterate: judge me January 1st of 2027 on what we’ve done this year with boxing. All these other
guys talking a lot of smack. I haven’t said anything about any of these guys, I haven’t talked sh-t about anybody or any of those stuff. I’m in my lane, I’m doing my thing. Just sit back and watch. We’ll make an announcement soon, for sure,” he would add with a grin.
Separately, Tyson Fury would also be asked about signing with White and he would provide a coy and cryptic response, as apparently neither man if intent on letting the cat out of the bag just yet, but the indications are there.
Fury is currently set up to have a tune up bout before a highly anticipated showdown with Anthony Joshua later this year.
