Lamine Yamal watched Barcelona’s 3-1 win over Real Betis from the stands at Camp Nou as Robert Lewandowski played his final game for the club on Sunday night.
The teenager is currently out injured and has missed the final weeks of the season, meaning he’s already played his last game alongside the Poland international.
However, Yamal still made sure to make it crystal clear exactly what he thinks of Lewandowski on a special night for the 37-year-old.
The teenager posted a video on Instagram of Lewandowski
waving to fans as they cheered his name after he had been substituted and added his verdict – Legend.
Lewandowski was clearly emotional when he was replaced late on in the game and addressed the crowd afterwards, saying “once a Culer, always a Culer.”
The affection showed by the crowd, the players and Barca’s staff on Sunday night showed just how loved he is at Barcelona and how much he will be missed.
Gracias Robert.
