Sean Sharaf will likely be wearing the damage from his knockout loss to Steven Asplund throughout the holiday season.
Asplund delivered a brutal second-round stoppage win over the bloodied and battered Sharaf during the preliminary slate of Saturday’s UFC Vegas 112 event. Although Sharaf was busted open early in the matchup, the finish got a little bit uncomfortable as referee Mark Smith allowed the fight to go quite a bit longer than it needed to.
Following the fight, UFC CEO Dana White shared photos
of Sharaf’s gashes — the before and after effects — on his Instagram stories.

Asplund had a successful debut following a memorable showing on the Contender Series in September. “Concrete” has finished his past four opponents after suffering his lone pro loss to Denzel Freeman in LFA in September 2024.
Sharaf signed with the UFC with 4-0 record in October 2024, and was stopped in the second round of both his his octagon appearances.
