The Knicks (0-3) have taken the loss of Mitchell Robinson so hard that they’ve started shooting like him. We admire the heart but question the logic of emulating a player who makes the same percentage with or without a blindfold. Tonight, the team whose offense got drunk and fell off a parade float will host the Pistons of Detroit (3-0) at Madison Square Garden. If New York shoots well from deep, their O-rating just might crawl out of last place. And if Mikal Bridges tops six points, everyone in the discussion
thread wins a no-prize. Our budget can’t afford chicken sandwiches.
The Pistons are the last undefeated team in the east but are vulnerable without the services of Ausar Thompson and Jalen “Contract Diva*” Duren. Both are sidelined with injuries sustained while hooping or carrying giant sacks of money. Tip off is 8 p.m. EST on NBC. This is your game thread. This is Detroit Bad Boys. Please don’t post large photos, GIFs, or links to illegal streams in the thread. Honor your humanity. And go Knicks!
