Episode 24 of The Bells Must Ring podcast is out now!
In this jam-packed episode, Andrew and Arnav recap the Iowa game, discussing everything that went right and wrong for the Scarlet Knights in their failure to pull the upset over the Hawkeyes. They highlighted the overall success of the offense against a strong defense but also broke down the concerns surrounding special teams, defense, penalties, and injuries, which collectively contributed to the loss.
They then shifted gears to the Minnesota game,
analyzing all the storylines around the Golden Gophers with all the familiarity between the schools. They broke down the players who are worth watching out for on Minnesota’s roster, as well as what this game means for Rutgers, as every winnable game becomes more and more of a must-win for the Scarlet Knights for bowl eligibility purposes.
Finally, they discussed all the other fall sports in action, with men’s and women’s soccer beginning conference play while field hockey and volleyball wind down their nonconference slates. They also look ahead to the upcoming schedules for each of the four programs and how their seasons could go.
