Flying into Miami has two options: Miami International Airport (MIA) or Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FLL). MIA is the larger airport for people that want to be closer to Miami’s nightlife and entertainment.
Hard Rock Stadium, in Miami Gardens, seats close to 65,000 people, but it’s also set in a place where there are no great options for public transportation. Thus, most people normally drive to the stadium and park, but that may not be possible due to the security perimeter in place for the World Cup. A public transit option is to take the Brightline to Aventura Station, where buses will take fans to and from the stadium. Rideshare options like Uber or Lyft are available.
Hard Rock Stadium is full of places to drink. Each end zone has an area where people are able to get drinks and watch not just the match they’re attending, but other matches across the continent. They have some standard stadium food, but they also have some Cuban options to give you a Miami feel in the stands.

Cuban food is a must in Miami, and the Calle Ocho section of town has some of the best you can find anywhere in the world. The world famous Versailles is truly a must-visit, but Sergio’s is another local favorite with a few locations throughout town for terrific Cuban food and strong coffee.
