The Tennessee Titans surprised a lot of people when they selected Carnell Tate with the fourth pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. That was higher than Tate was expected to go, but he was the best receiver prospect in the draft. There is no shot he would have made it out of the top 10.
Tate has big expectations going that high in the draft. We can debate the numbers he needs to hit to justify that draft position, but at the end of the day, as long as he becomes a number one receiver, he will have been worth
the pick. This year, the Titans just need him to be a legitimate threat in their offense.
How many touchdowns will Tate have in his rookie season?
