The Miami Dolphins made the decision to cut ties with Tua Tagovailoa on Monday and no one was shocked by the news. The Tua era has come to an end and now Malik Willis has entered the chat. Back during the 2019 season, the motto was “Tank for Tua”. While the Dolphins did in fact lose enough games, they obviously made the wrong quarterback choice. Had they lost a few more games, they could have had Joe Burrow or simply selected Justin Herbert instead of Tagovailoa. Tua enjoyed a six year stretch with the team,
but was never able to live up to the hype except for those first two seasons with Mike McDaniel. It was a disappointing end, but now we turn the page and hope this new regime can right the ship.
You can check out that story here, and the rest of the day’s round-up below.
