It would have been tough to see Alphonso Davies, Jamal Musiala, or Jonas Urbig go down during Bayern Munich’s 6-1 win over Atalanta, but to see all three get hurt, well, that was a special kind of pain.
For Bayern Munich CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen, it was a tough pill to swallow.
“I would like to say something about the players who got injured today. Jonas is at the hospital, he most likely suffered a concussion. As for Phonzy, we all felt sorry for him. We wish him a speedy recovery – and we’ll know
more about the injury when we return to Munich. The same goes for Jamal. Our thoughts are with you. You had a great performance today and I’m sure you’ll get through this, ” Dreesen noted (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
While Musiala and Urbig are not expected to be out for long, the injury to Davies seems a bit more ominous. Surely, Bayern Munich fans are crossing their fingers at the moment.
