Colorado fans, rejoice! We have a normal kickoff time in the near future!
On October 4, the Buffs will make the trip to Fort Worth, Texas, for a matchup with the TCU Horned Frogs. This game will be a matchup of
the 2023 instant classic, where Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter powered the Buffs to a win over the national champ runner-up in Deion Sanders’ Colorado debut.
The Big 12 seemingly believes this game is a big deal, as they scheduled the rematch for a primetime slot on national television. In a press release by the conference on Monday morning, the conference announced they’ve scheduled Colorado’s game in Amon G. Carter Stadium to kick off at 5:30 p.m. MT. The game will be broadcast across the country on Fox.
This 2025 Buffs team has been no stranger to night games, as this will be CU’s fourth game under the lights in five weeks. Additionally, it’ll be Colorado’s third consecutive night game following back-to-back 8:15 pm MT kickoffs against Wyoming and BYU.
Start making your plans for next weekend, as that 5:30 p.m. slot is perfect for cooking out and tailgating!
