The Aggies continue to forge a new path this season, winning their fourth road game of the season on Saturday as they took down No. 22 Missouri 38-17 in Columbia. A&M now returns to Kyle Field for the first
time in over a month to host the South Carolina Gamecocks, and they are clearly the team who is expected to win. According to FanDuel, A&M opens as a 17.5-point favorite.
That line shouldn’t come as a shock. A&M is 9-0 (6-0) and is making a habit of winning SEC games convincingly, while South Carolina is 3-6 (1-6) and is currently on a four-game losing streak (all to ranked opponents). South Carolina also has statistically the worst offense in the SEC, and having a dynamic offense has been the only thing that has allowed teams to stay close to the Aggies this season. Oh, and the Gamecocks have never won a game at Kyle Field.
That said, SC is coming off a bye week, still has a dangerous QB in LaNorris Sellers, and of course, they beat A&M a year ago in Columbia. So I don’t think anyone on the A&M team is going to be overlooking this game. They’ll look to get to 10-0 and then head into the final stretch of the season that includes a home game against Samford before a Black Friday trip to Austin against Texas.
Let’s keep this up, Ags.
