Eric Garcia has been chatting about his team-mates at Barcelona in a new interview and has been quizzed on who is the most underrated player in Hansi Flick’s squad.
The versatile star wasn’t completely
sure who to go for but ended up throwing a couple of names into the mix.
“It may be that Frenkie is there and I think the two attacking midfielders, both Fermín and Dani. They are players that when we have both well, it is very noticeable,” he told Sport.
“They are two players with goals, who give you an assist, they give you work, Dani, he can also play you as a false nine, they can both play together. I think they are two players who are very important for our team.”
Garcia was also quizzed on his future, confirming he only wants to stay at Barcelona and that contract talks are now underway.
“Talks are taking place and hopefully they can come to fruition as soon as possible,” he added.
Barcelona confirmed a new contract extension for Frenkie de Jong on Wednesday and it looks as though Garcia will be the next player to renew.
