The 2026 Zurich Classic of New Orleans, held annually at TPC Louisiana in Avondale, is set to kick off next week. The nearly 90-year-old event is a tournament on the Professional Golfers’ Association circuit. As in previous years, the Zurich will begin on Monday with the Pro-Am before proceeding with the Celebrity Shootout on Tuesday afternoon. This year, three current New Orleans Saints players are expected to participate in the shootout.
Linebacker Pete Werner, Safety Justin Reid, and Quarterback
Tyler Shough will trade in their helmets for golf clubs as they continue to embrace the surrounding communities of New Orleans and its never-ending festivities.
They will be joined by former NFL players Marshall Faulk, Matt Flynn, and the ever-popular ESPN sportscaster Chris Berman. In the past, this charity event has seen the likes of Zach Strief, Sean Payton, and Drew Brees showing off their swings in front of those in attendance.
Tickets for the week’s activities can still be purchased at the Zurich Classic website here.
