Commodores. The Cats and the ‘Dores will kick off on Saturday afternoon at 3:30 PM EST on ESPN.

Can Kentucky upset #14 Vanderbilt on its home field on senior day?

The oddsmakers like the Commodores by a little more than a touchdown. The original line opened at -9.5, but FanDuel currently lists UK as a -8.5 underdog with the over/under set at 53.5 points.

It could be a real treat for football fans if Cutter Boley and Diego Pavia somehow ended up in a shootout inside FirstBank Stadium.

Pavia is finishing up what can only be described as an incredible season.

It’s been an impressive run for Vandy to an 8-2 record and new heights on the gridiron. This season, Pavia has thrown for nearly 2,500 yards, 21 touchdowns, and five interceptions while gaining national popularity.

There’s no denying it’ll be a tall task for Stoops and his staff to keep this improbable win streak alive, especially considering how many injuries the Cats will be dealing with. But that’s why they play the game!

Win or lose, it’d just be great to see UK look sharp on both sides of the ball and carry the positive momentum from the Tennessee Tech demolition over to a formidable opponent.

Sitting at 5-5, if Kentucky looks organized and competes at a high level against a top-15 team, you have to give major credit to this coaching staff and group of players.

Saturday’s game against Vanderbilt will be a critical narrative in the story of this 2025 UK football team.
