I hear Boston College sports fans are looking for good news… Well on Sunday, the Hockey East preseason media poll was released and it has BC finishing #3 in their conference this season. Does that count?
First in the poll is BU, followed
by a cluster of teams that includes Maine, BC, Providence, UConn, and UMass. Hockey East sent those exact five teams to the NCAA tournament last season, so this list isn’t exactly a surprise. But now without their star forwards and star goalie, the Eagles likely won’t be as dominant in the regular season as they were in 2024-25.
