
Today, Angel City FC announced that the team has traded forward and French international Julie Dufour and a 2025 international slot to the Portland Thorns – ACFC will receive $40,000 intra-league transfer funds for 2025.
Dufour signed a three-year contract with ACFC prior to the 2025 season, and appeared in 10 matches (4 starts) for the club.
Before arriving in the NWSL, she played two seasons with Paris FC and three seasons with Bordeaux and Lille in the Première Ligue. She appeared in 152 matches
and scored 33 career goals in her eight seasons in France.
She will now head to the Rose City.
“Julie has competed at the some of the highest levels in women’s football and we know she will bring invaluable international experience to our young squad,” President and General Manager of Soccer Operations Jeff Agoos said. “We are excited to welcome Julie to the environment we’ve created and look forward to the contributions she will have as a member of the Portland Thorns.”

Julie Dufour will be available for selection tonight at Providence Park for Portland Thorns’ big home match against Kansas City Current.
