The Las Vegas Raiders are facing the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. They will be attempting to force an upset and stop a losing streak after falling to their last two opponents.
With Josh Allen coming into town, the Raiders will need help to get after the passer. On Saturday, the Silver and Black elevated edge rusher Cian Sloane from the practice squad.
Sloan is an undrafted free agent out of North Carolina State. He recorded 11 sacks in college, and his athletic testing made him an intriguing prospect.
He then made plays for the Raiders in the preseason and generated buzz as a potential roster addition.
Many thought he would make the team outright based on his preseason performance. He lost out to veteran Patrick Johnson and was sent to the practice squad. Now he has a chance to show what he can do and contribute on special teams.
