LFC offered Davies? (Rousing the Kop)
The rumors linking Alphonso Davies to an exit from Bayern Munich are very odd to say the least.
While it feels extremely unlikely that Bayern Munich would sell Davies or that the Canadian would ask to leave, there have been some oddball stories — like this one below — floating around:
Alphonso Davies could be heading for the exit door at Bayern Munich, and Liverpool have been approached. One of the fastest players on the planet, Davies is a player most fans would love to see at Anfield.
Liverpool have
at least been made aware of a possible opening for Davies, with the Bayern Munich left-back said to have been offered to a number of Premier League clubs.
The Reds are among those mentioned in a report from TEAMtalk, which is no surprise given the expectation that they could look to strengthen at left-back this summer with Andy Robertson likely to leave Liverpool.
The report on Davies does not go far enough to suggest Liverpool are pushing hardest or have moved beyond early interest. They are listed alongside Man United as the main contenders, though.
Intermediaries are testing the market, with several major English clubs alerted to the situation and Bayern open to the right offer rather than actively forcing a sale.
Maybe we are wrong, but there is seemingly no shot that Bayern Munich would sell Davies so soon after extending him (2025).
Falk throws cold water on Real’s hopes for Olise (Sport Bild’s Christian Falk)
If the words of Bayern Munich CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen and board member for sport Max Eberl were not enough to convince you that the Bavarians had no intention of selling Michael Olise, Sport Bild’s Christian Falk also chimed in:
✅ It is TRUE: Real Madrid are interested in Michael Olise. This comes directly from the club president, Florentino Perez. The season isn’t a typical one for Real Madrid, so I think he wants to give a present to the supporters to make up for it! And wouldn’t this be some present for the summer transfer window! It’s not looking good on the right wing for Madrid; Rodrygo is injured, and Olise, meanwhile, is having a fantastic season in Munich.
And yes, according to the rumours, Real Madrid are thinking of a €160m-165m [£137.9m-142.2m] offer. If this actually came about, FC Bayern would have to discuss it; they’d have to talk to Michael about it. However, at the end, Bayern Munich are not a seller’s club. They’re a buyer’s club. They have a contract with Michael Olise, and he currently has no release clause! So, there’s no immediate plan to sell him. But, of course, such crazy numbers would be a big deal. So it would, perhaps, not be so easy to say no.

Barca eyeing Bastoni (Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano)

Rice to extend deal? (Transfer expert Nicolo Schira via ESPN)
At one point, Bayern Munich was heavily involved in talks with Declan Rice regarding a move to Germany, but the Bavarians could not get him to look past Arsenal. Now, the Gunners seem ready to extend Rice’s deal:
Arsenal and midfielder Declan Rice are close to reaching an agreement over a new contract that will secure his future at the Emirates Stadium until 2030 or 2031.
