This week we asked Syracuse fans to tell us which of the football road games you were looking forward to this Fall.
By a wide margin, Orange fans have circled the game in Chapel Hill. Maybe it’s for the warmer weather, or some Carolina barbecue at the tailgates, or maybe it’s about a dish better served cold…..revenge.
Syracuse’s season spiraled after the Halloween game against Bill Belichick and the Tar Heels and this could be a chance for retribution for Fran Brown’s crew.
Here are a couple of the
comments in favor of the Tar Heels
Which road game to pick? Tobacco Road and UNC of course. We owe Bill B for last year’s debacle against them. Would love to win that one
Voted for UNC because it’s early in the year, but if State is a day game and UNC is not (times are still TBD) and the weather’s still fine in November (which isn’t impossible, it’s Raleigh, not Syracuse), then I’d flip it because an actual Saturday afternoon game in the triangle might be not too unreasonable to attend (it’s football, so tickets ought not to be too crazy).
A couple of people prefer BC or UConn for ease of getting to those games, but it seems that any road trips that Orange fans would embark on would take them further south.
We’re now three weeks away from the start of the 2026 season. If you’re looking to see if any of the odds for the Orange have changed, head over to our partners at FanDuel.
