Legendary Buffalo Bills quarterback Jim Kelly was on hand Tuesday for the ribbon cutting ceremony of the team’s new Highmark Stadium, sharing in a historic moment for the franchise. But with that, Kelly also revealed a recent health setback.
Speaking with members of the media during the event, Kelly disclosed that he suffered a minor stroke approximately a month and a half ago. The Hall of Fame quarterback was quick to reassure everyone that he’s doing well and feeling great.
The news comes as another
reminder of the resilience Kelly has shown throughout his life. Kelly has battled numerous health challenges over the years, including multiple cancer diagnoses, yet through it all he continues to inspire Bills fans by leading with perseverance and an always positive outlook.
Thankfully, the recent health scare appears to be behind him. Kelly’s message was a simple one. He’s doing fine, feeling great, and looking forward to what’s next. Bills Mafia wouldn’t expect anything less from number 12.
