Thursday’s injury report for LSU vs. Texas A&M on Saturday night brough great news for the Tigers. Tamarcus Cooley and Ja’Keem Jackson were both upgraded following their initial listings on the first report on Wednesday evening. Cooley has been completely removed following his questionable tag yesterday. That’s massive, considering he seems to be the replacement in the STAR position for Dashawn Spears. With Spears out for the year, Cooley is probably the most suited to replace him, while Jhase Thomas
takes Cooley’s spot.

Listed as doubtful on Wednesday, Jackson has been upgraded to questionable, which is great news for the depth of Blake Baker’s secondary.

There aren’t any surprises here. Lane Kiffin confirmed on Monday that Wright is out for the season after getting injured in the LA Tech game. The injuries of Green and Spears have been well-documented. Spears is, unfortunately, done for the year with a torn ACL, while Green seemingly got lucky and suffered a sprain that doesn’t require surgery. He’ll be out a few weeks, but should return later in the season.

#8 Ashton Bethel-Roman
Morrow is listed as the #2 running back, but Bethel-Roman is the guy to watch. He’s battled injuries through the first few games and despite only recording 2 receptions, so far, he can become an extremely important part of the Texas A&M offense. Whether that begins this week or not is still up in the air.

This one stings for the Aggies. Although his stats haven’t jumped off of the page, he’s a former 5-star with tons of potential on the way. He had a really good offseason and fall camp and was looking to finally get going and display his immense talent. His skillset was one of a kind for Texas A&M, being able to line up outside at receiver or even in the backfield to take a hand off.
