Great news for Duke and Duke fans as Jon Scheyer and the university have agreed on a contract extension. The new deal will keep him in Durham through the 2030-31 season.
After last season’s beautiful team,
and his overall success in his first three seasons which tied Brad Stevens and Brad Underwood for the best three-year start in college basketball history, it’s certainly deserved.
We wouldn’t know, but our guess is that both Duke and Scheyer feel like he’s exactly where he’s supposed to be. We’d love it if he matched Coach K’s longevity as the coach of the Blue Devils. Let’s go Duke!
