With the Cardinals out of playoff contention, our focus shifts to the offseason. So over the next few months, we are going to be taking a look at a handful of prospects leading up to the 2026 NFL draft.
With Arizona having needs at various positions, we will do our best to evaluate the players that we feel fit the team precisely.
Today, I take a look at Utah offensive tackle Spencer Fano.

Elevator pitch
Arguably the top offensive tackle in this year’s class, Fano is a well-rounded
player who possesses great movement skills, overall technique and reactive athleticism to be a very reliable blocker at the next level, but he would benefit from adding more mass in his lower body to be able to sustain against power rushers.
Strengths
Superb athlete…Gets into his sets fluidly and loosely…Quick feet to get to his spots with urgency…Shows great body control and footwork to keep a consistently square base…Shows great, savvy hand techniques to win early…Possesses strong grip strength…Has a high IQ and picks up on stunts and blitzes very well…Seals off defenders to open run lanes…Shows good range on pulls and is very good at the second level…Starts at both tackle spots.
Weaknesses
Flexibility supplements his anchor, but he can be knocked off balance due to only sufficient lower body strength…Has a good set of tools with his upper body, but hand placement can be inconsistent.
