Bayern Munich star Harry Kane has never experienced winning a treble or even winning the Champions League.
In 2026, he wants to change that…badly.
“This season we’re still competing in all the competitions. We’ve made sure we go into 2026 with the possibility of winning all three titles. That’s the goal as a team, to win everything this season. Personally, I want to help the team by continuing to score goals. It’s been the best start to a season in my career, so that shows me I can still improve. And
then there’s the World Cup in the summer. It’s obviously a great year and a great chance to make history,” Kane told Sky Germany’s Torben Hoffmann (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
Kane’s 2026 should present opportunity for the Englishman. Winning a treble is in play and breaking Robert Lewandowski’s single season Bundesliga goal scoring record is also a possibility. Moreover, England figures to be one of the favorites for the World Cup.
If ever there was a year for Kane to get serious Balon d’Or consideration, this might be it.
“I’m someone who doesn’t get carried away by praise. Of course, it’s nice to hear that people speak well of me, but I also know that many of these people will speak badly of me if I stop scoring goals in the foreseeable future. I try not to get too carried away, and the same goes for when things aren’t going so well. But of course, I appreciate it when people speak well of me,” Kane said.
