Cris Cyborg is back in MMA action this December.
The PFL announced Wednesday that Cyborg (28-2) is set to fight Sara Collins (6-0) in a featherweight championship bout at LDLC Arena in Lyon, France, on Dec.
13. This marks a return of sorts for Cyborg, who fought for PFL less than a year ago, but has competed in three boxing matches in 2025.
That bout serves as the Dec. 13 co-main event, with Vadim Nemkov (19-2) battling Renan Ferreira (13-4) for a heavyweight title in the main event.
Cyborg’s last outing in the SmartCage saw her win a thrilling five-round decision over Larissa Pacheco to capture a Superfight Championship. It was the eighth straight win for the women’s MMA pioneer, who then went on to score three straight knockouts in boxing competition, including two victories in March.
The less experienced Collins earned her title shot after submitting top contender Leah McCourt inside of a round in September 2024. She also holds notable wins over Sinead Kavanagh and Pam Sorenson in the Bellator cage.
Nemkov seeks heavyweight gold after previously conquering the Bellator light heavyweight division. He is 2-0 since moving up a division, with wins over Timothy Johnson and Bruno Cappelozza. On the other side, Ferreira looks to bounce back after a loss to Francis Ngannou this past October. Ferreira won the 2024 PFL heavyweight tournament to set up that opportunity, but fell to Ngannou’s strikes inside of a round.
PFL Lyon will also feature the finals of the PFL Europe lightweight and bantamweight tournaments.
