Elves Brener looked better than ever earlier tonight (Sat., Sept. 26, 2026) at UFC Vegas 121 LIVE on Paramount+ from inside Meta Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, shocking lightweight counterpart Josiah Harrell with a nasty firsts-round TKO (punches).
Harrell entered Saturday’s “Prelims” matchup as a slight betting favorite, but hardcore fight fans knew Brener was one of the best underdog picks on the card. Brener may be reckless at times, but he has some solid wins on his MMA resume and is always a candidate
to finish an opponent early and violently. That’s exactly what happened on Saturday as Brener delivered another finish after over a year away from the cage.
While Harrell did deliver some solid takedown attempts early and kept Brener on his back foot for a good portion of the first round the difference in power and effectiveness was clear every time Brener connected. Brener was also changing up stances, which allowed him to use a lead jab then rely on his power right to do the bigger damage. One thing led to another and a final right by Brenner struck Harrell and sent him head first into the canvas. It was basically over, but a few insurance shots were landed.
