The Los Angeles Rams trail the Tennessee Titans by a score of 13-10 after the first half of play, and we hope you’ll join us in commenting below for the second half of the game, as there’s plenty of football left, and we want YOU to be a part of today’s game thread!
If you’re curious, L.A. should start the second half with the ball.
The first half went the Rams way for the most part, but the Titans showed some real grit in the back half of the second quarter to put themselves back in this one.
L.A.‘s
defense gave rookie Cam Ward a tough time with strong pressure and decent coverage to match, but the rookie stayed resilient for his squad, and the young man hasn’t looked overwhelmed despite the challenges the Rams have presented.
Matthew Stafford and the offense wasn’t unstoppable, but they looked smooth at times as Puka Nacua broke off a long run for the first points of the game, and helped the Rams jump out to a 7-0 lead. They also failed to score a second touchdown in the red zone, and had to settle for a field goal, which gave some momentum to the Titans who then took advanage by tying up the game 10-10 with less than a minute to go in the half.
Right after that score, Stafford thew an interception to the Titans to give Ward another chance to score before the end of the half, and he did just that as he helped his team secure another field goal and 13-10 lead.
The Rams have work to do coming out of the half if they wish to win this one.
