A sight no one wants to see, especially in a practice setting: Steph Curry, with no apparent contact made with another player, suddenly hobbling toward the sideline.

Fears were immediately apparent. With a no-contact injury such as this, many assumed that it was Curry’s knee that was affected.
Worst possible sight you could see in an open practice. Stephen
Curry just slipped and tweaked something. Just limped off the floor. Looked like the knee. https://t.co/9049vh9G0g

After the event, Steve Kerr cleared things up: it was not Curry’s knee that was affected. Rather, it was a right ankle tweak that Curry suffered. Furthermore, Kerr added that it was not a serious injury, and that Curry will be ‘fine.’
Steve Kerr said it’s the right ankle, not the knee, for Stephen Curry. Said he talked to him in locker room and “he’s fine.” https://t.co/O5uyl6ckOk

Curry’s status for the Warriors’ season opener against the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday is TBD, but one assumes Curry will receive around-the-clock treatment, and his activity leading up to the opener will be limited, should the Warriors hope for him to be healthy for that game.
