It has been a tense and exciting couple of weeks for the Tigers, who have frequently seemed down, but have never counted themselves out. Tonight, they will face the toughest game of their season, as they go
to Game Five of the ALDS, their last shot to continue in the postseason, or end at the same level they did in 2024.
We saw that the spark was still there in Game Four, and the Tigers will have to leave it all on the table tonight, including bringing back in ace Tarik Skubal to limit the damage the Mariners can do in the early part of the game. They won’t have home field advantage anymore, but they took Game One of the series in Seattle. They can do it again.
We have some tidbits from Game Four below, as well as some baseball news about who the Tigers will be facing if (when) they carry on to the ALCS.
