The Cleveland Browns started off strong on defense against the Baltimore Ravens but the offense and special teams did not join in positively. On four possessions, the Browns offense had two first downs and a total of 37 net yards. On special teams, DeAndre Carter was knocked out of the game with a concussion on the first play, Isaiah Bond almost fumbled a punt, allowed a big return by the Ravens and Corey Bojorquez didn’t pin Baltimore when given the chance on his third punt.
It was the fourth punt
attempt that things got even worse.
Ronnie Hickman was run through on the way to a block of Bojorquez’s punt, which also led the punter to get hit and injured:
Bojorquez was seen limping off the field with the help of his teammate. He headed into the blue injury tent, then walked out and put his helmet back on.
The Browns offense couldn’t get much going on their next possession, which led Bojorquez to get back on the field and down a punt inside the 10-yard line. Cleveland’s punter was limping off the field after the punt, however.
