The UFC White House card is here and Ilia Topuria is expected to win big at the historic event.
Following the official announcement of the June 14 White House lineup, opening odds have been put up by BetOnline, and Topuria is a massive favorite to defend his undisputed lightweight championship against interim titleholder Justin Gaethje in the main event. The undefeated Topuria is currently a -550 favorite, with Gaethje coming in as an underdog at +400.
That means a successful $100 wager on Topuria
would return $ 118.18, while hitting a Gaethje win would return $500. The odds give Topuria an 84 percent chance of winning the fight.
In the co-main event, Alex Pereira vacated his light heavyweight championship to take on Ciryl Gane for an interim heavyweight title. Pereira vies to become the first UFC fighter to win a championship in three divisions, after previously holding gold at 205 and 185 pounds.
It’s Gane who is actually favored to win at -180, with Pereira a slight underdog at +155. That gives Pereira slightly less than a 40 percent chance to pull off the historic feat.
A $100 wager on Gane will win bettors $155.56, while the same bet on Pereira returns $255.
The six-fight card features several fights with wide odds, with Sean O’Malley, Mauricio Ruffy (a whopping -700 favorite), and Bo Nickal all heavily expected to win.
