Well, today is the last college football game of the 2025 season (wipes away a single tear), as No. 1 Indiana (15-0) takes on No. 10 Miami (13-2) in the College Football Playoff National Championship game. The game kicks off at 6:30 p.m. at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, of all places, and while the main broadcast will be on ESPN, this game gets the “Megacast” treatment, meaning there are plenty of viewing options available across several ESPN networks. You can learn more Megacast details here.
Regarding
the game itself, the Hoosiers enter as the favorite, sitting at -7.5 according to FanDuel Sportsbook. In addition, the over/under currently sits at 47.5. Of course, the Hurricanes were underdogs against both Ohio State and A&M, so I think we know how little those numbers can mean when a team is playing well.
For A&M fans, this game has some complex (and perhaps conflicting) emotions. Do we want Miami to win it all, to further prove that A&M has no shame in losing to them? Or do the Hurricanes going all the way further drive the knife into our hearts knowing how close A&M was to taking this team down last month in College Station?
Well, according to SB Nation Reacts, most fans are not only rooting against Miami to win, they also don’t believe they will win, with Indiana the prohibitive favorite in both categories.

But no matter who you are rooting for, let’s all pour one out for the 2025 season. While it ended on a sour note for A&M, it was undeniably a successful one for the Ags, and one Mike Elko and his staff will look to build upon heading into the offseason. The long, unyielding offseason.
