Two ways tonight can go. We either see a Rays victory, and they move on to the World Series, starting on Friday in Milwaukee. We spend the next three days staring out the window, twiddling our thumbs and waiting for that to start. Or the Guardians prevail, and we look forward to a winner-take-all battle tomorrow night at the Trop for the American League pennant. While I’m generally Rays-friendly, I kinda lean towards the latter, simply because I am greedy, and want as many baseball games as possible
this postseason. After all, who knows when the next time we will get them? At least at the major league level. Still planning to go to the AFL on November 5!
For now though, we know there will be at least two days without meaningful baseball this week, on Wednesday and Thursday. So you might want to enjoy this while you can!
