It seems almost impossible, but the fine people at DraftKings have dropped their lines for every single game of the 2026 NFL season, and the Arizona Cardinals have done it.
The Cardinals opened the 2026 NFL season after their schedule was released as underdogs in all 17 games.
I get it, the Cardinals are coming off a 3-14 season, their likely starting quarterback is 1-11 with the team and 2-15 in his last 17 starts with two different
teams.
But, being underdogs against the New York Jets (who picked second overall in this draft) and the Las Vegas Raiders (who picked first) at home is even a bridge too far for me, and I think this is a team who likely doesn’t make their 4.5-win total for the season.
I get being bad, but this is basically saying this team is not just bad, but unwatchable.
I just don’t see that when you look at the Jets and Raiders being on the schedule.
I know it is a quibble of two games, and the bigger picture is that they look so bad that those are the only two games that are even coin flips on their schedule, and there are 11 games where they are a two score underdogs, but it goes to show how little the national media thinks of them heading into 2026.
