Making your competitive first-team debut for Bayern Munich is a milestone that few young footballers ever get to experience, and Tim Binder will always have that first official appearance to look back on as the beginning of his professional journey.
“I’d already had a few opportunities to play during preseason, but making my debut in my first official professional match was really special for me. Before coming on, I tried not to overthink and just wanted to play my football,” Binder told Bild (as

Rather than letting the occasion overwhelm him, Binder focused on doing what he knows best — playing football. That ability to keep things simple and trust himself is important for any young player stepping onto the pitch for Bayern Munich’s first team. The youngster completed seven of nine passes in 15 minutes and put in a good shift with his hustle.
The debut is only the beginning, but it represents a significant step forward for a player looking to establish himself at the club.
