After a weird game on the road against Boston College, Notre Dame more than handled its own against Navy on Saturday with an impressive 49-10 win against a 30.5 point spread. The Irish climbed one spot
up to #9 in the AP Top 25 and CoachesPoll — and we expect the same in the College Football Playoff rankings on Tuesday night.
Next up for the Irish this week are the newly ranked Pitt Panthers. Notre Dame will travel to Pittsburgh for the Noon game and ESPN’s College Gameday will be there as well. Notre Dame is a team that just about everyone has a strong opinion about when it comes to the rankings and the playoffs — and it appears like this is all a way to either buy or sell on the Irish.
According to FanDuel Sportsbook, Notre Dame is a 10.5 point favorite over the Pitt Panthers with an over/under of 55.5.
All of Notre Dame’s wins have come by double digits this season, so being a double digit favorte against Narduzzi’s Pitt squad comes as little surprise.
