FanDuel Odds & Thoughts
San Jose State/Utah State: -4.5 Utah State, O/U 64.5
- It will be a battle of two strong offenses, although both teams are coming off losses. The Aggies get the nod for being at home, and they are likely the better team. However, the small line does respect the Spartans a bit.
UNLV/Boise State: -11.5 Boise State, O/U 62.5
- Boise State is at home, which is worth a few points, but it’s clear the Broncos are pretty definitively favored. Is that because oddsmakers believe in Boise State, think the Rebels are a paper tiger, or a bit of both?
Wyoming/Air Force: -4.5 Air Force, O/U 58.5
- The Falcons have been on the wrong end of quite a few games recently, but the line indicates they will win this one in another close contest. It’s a battle of two teams that haven’t had a lot going for them this season, but someone has to win.
Hawaii/Colorado State: -1.5 Colorado State, O/U 54.5
- The Rams are fresh off an upset win and are hoping to pull off another one. If their offense has a similar showing, this could be a fun game. Is the line giving Colorado State a slight edge due to Hawaii’s traveling?
Nevada/New Mexico: -10.5 New Mexico, O/U 49.5
- Heading into the season, this figured to be a battle of two poor teams, but now that is only the case for one of them. The Lobos are clear favorites here, as not much is expected from the Wolf Pack.
