The Cleveland Browns have dealt with their share of injuries this season, especially at certain positions.
Running backs Quinshon Judkins and Dylan Sampson have both missed time, as have defensive tackles Mason Graham, Mike Hall Jr., and Maliek Collins, who is out for Sunday’s game against New Orleans with an elbow injury.
As general manager Andrew Berry shuffles the game-day roster, he also looks for players to fill out the bottom of the roster and practice squad.
And on Friday, the Browns hosted running
backs Ulysses Bentley IV and Elijah Tau-Tolliver, and defensive backs Austin Brown, Darren Hall, and Jerrick Reed.
The 5-foot-10 and 200-pound Bentley originally signed with the Indianapolis Colts in 2025 as an undrafted free agent out of Ole Miss. Bentley played six seasons in college, three at SMU and three at Mississippi, rushing for 2,591 yards and 28 touchdowns. He played one game for the Colts in 2025 and most recently spent time on New Orleans’ practice squad.
The 6-foot-1 and 204-pound Tau-Tolliver originally signed with the Baltimore Ravens in 2026 as an undrafted free agent from Michigan State. He was released by the Ravens in the final roster cuts. He played four seasons at Sacramento State, rushing for 950 yards in 2024, before spending one season with Michigan State, rushing for 428 yards and two touchdowns.
Brown originally signed with the Colts in 2026 as an undrafted free agent from Wisconsin. He was released during the final roster cutdown. In four seasons with the Badgers, Brown played in 50 games and finished his collegiate career with 142 tackles, 4 tackles for loss, and 2 sacks.
The 6-foot and 190-pound Hall was originally a fourth-round draft pick by the Atlanta Falcons in 2021. He has spent time with the Falcons, Colts, Arizona Cardinals, Washington Commanders, and the Saints. He has played in 49 career games, making 12 starts, and has 95 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, 1 sack, 1 forced fumble, and 1 fumble recovery.
The 5-foot-9 and 197-pound Reed was selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the sixth round of the 2023 NFL Draft. He appeared in 20 games with the Seahawks (2023 through 2025) and three games with the Tennessee Titans (2025). After being released by the Titans in September, Reed spent time on Arizona’s practice squad. He has 24 career tackles and made one start.
