What is the story about?

The Cincinnati Reds are back home in Great American Ball Park after a quick trip to New York and a day off on Thursday. Friday evening sees them open a homestand that will first feature the Atlanta Braves in town.

The Braves have the best record in baseball, which is a problem. Chris Paddack will be tasked with keeping the ball in the yard against the potent Atlanta offense. Grant Holmes, meanwhile, is the pitcher against whom the Reds offense hopefully tees-off.

First pitch is set for 6:40 PM ET.
