The Cleveland Browns face off with the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 1 of the 2025 NFL season and may have just been dealt a big blow to their hopes in the first Battle of Ohio for this season. The first injury report of the week on Wednesday had a few Browns listed, including DT Mike Hall Jr. missing practice, while the Bengals were completely healthy.
On Thursday, Hall returned to practice for the first time, but DE Myles Garrett and WR/KR DeAndre Carter were not seen on the field. Following practice came
news that Garrett is dealing with a hip injury that forced him to miss practice:
Garrett has dealt with a number of injuries in his career, but has played in 16 or more games the last four seasons. Cleveland has practice on Friday at noon, but Garrett could still play on Sunday even if he misses that practice.
We will have the Browns and Bengals second injury report of the week later this afternoon, which could provide more clarity on injuries for Week 1.
