Over the weekend, Kevin Nash engaged in a fiery debate with social media users after he heavily criticized President Donald Trump on a number of issues.
What was absent from his attacks was any critique of his good friend Paul “Triple H” Levesque, who serves on a committee in Trump’s White House.
The online feud began when Nash denounced fellow WWE Hall of Famer Trump and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth for the war in Iran, writing the two men are “driving the clown car.”

I’m sure we can agree that Walter Cronkite has passed. If he were here today I have a feeling he would mimick he observations of the war in South East Asia. It appears that America has lost this war. Please don’t sell anymore of our strategic oil reserves to doners. America is still great. Even with two of you driving the clown car. Put on your wetsuits, this blue wave is not survivable,” Nash posted on X (Twitter).
An X user named Dave Bishop responded by writing: “I think liberal wrestlers have taken more chair shots to the head than the average pro wrestler. I just don’t get what excuse the other liberals have.”
Nash replied by listing what he considers some of Trump’s failures: “Obviously the exact opposite. How many ships get thru the straight today with an American affiliation? No new wars? Ukraine/ Russia over in 24 hours? Power to our homes? Cost of living? Should we open the conversation on the Epstein files? Looks like you take chair shots for sexual pleasure. Lame Duck is on the menu.”
After Bishop wrote back about Iran allegedly seeking the capability to produce nuclear weapons as a justification for war, Nash posted: “North Korea has nukes. How many have they fired on an other country. As many military cargo planes that have landed in Iran from China you don’t think a nuclear weapon was delivered? Iran has at least one Ohio class sub with 14-18 nukes with 8 warheads each. This shit can only go so far. Find Christ and have an exit plan.”
While several X users in the comments of the post debated the points Nash made, at least one person referenced Levesque’s ties to Trump with a photo montage of the WWE chief content officer at the White House.
“Are you just gonna be silent about this forever then?” the X user wrote to Nash about the photos of Triple H.
Trump was inducted into WWE’s Hall of Fame in 2013. His contributions to wrestling include playing host to two early WrestleManias at one of his since-closed casino-hotels. Years later, Trump entered into an angle with then-WWE boss Vince McMahon that culminated in the “Battle of the Billionaires” match at WrestleMania 23 that saw Bobby Lashley (representing Trump) defeat Umaga (wrestling on behalf of Vince).
Currently, Vince’s wife (and former WWE executive), Linda McMahon, serves as Trump’s secretary of education. Meanwhile, Trump appointed Levesque as vice chair of the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition in 2025, and the retired wrestler has made various public appearances on behalf of the administration.
One of Levesque’s most recent visits to the White House came in June when he was photographed with WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns at the UFC Freedom 250 on the South Lawn.
Nash, of course, has remained close friends with Levesque since their days in the backstage Kliq group in the 1990s. He has publicly addressed WWE’s numerous White House ties in the past, most notably when Mick Foley announced in December 2025 that he was parting ways with WWE due to its affiliation with Trump.
At the time, he called the McMahon-Levesques his “Republican family.” In this and other his other takedowns of Trump, though, he’s left any talk of his friend Paul out of it.
